Hello WCSC!
Thank you for your incredible support of the 2021 Hospice Regatta. We raised over $100,000! Wow!
We still have some donations trickling in, but we did it! Thanks to you, your friends, family and coworkers, we were able to raise over $57,500 in the Sailing for Others competition and push us over the $100k number. Great job all! 2021 Hospice Regatta Sailing for Others Recap
Results are posted and the fleet winners were Dan Neff, Ryan Gaskin, Marc Bailey, Hugh VantLeven, John Tyner, Jeff Neurater and Jill Pancoast. Overall winner who will represent WCSC in the National Hospice Regatta is Ryan Gaskin from Lake Murray Sail Club.
The success of this event is dependent on many members at WCSC who provide Race Management, Scoring, Food Service and prep, grounds management, event registration, raffle management and much much more.
A special thanks to Charlie and Sandra Lord, Theresa Ashmore, Sierra Ashmore, Brent Benson, Kayla Robbs, Jim Snowden, Terhune and Denise Sudderth, Ron Sanga, Dacia Schrecengost, Maria Bolan, Emily and Eva Stielow, AnnaKay and Derek Lord, Dennis and Lisa Baker, Bruce Busbey, Rick and Allison Fontenot, Robert Rainey, Bob Kaiser, John Barnard, Bob Fowler and AG Caldwell. They are a big part of our success as they all go above the call of duty helping manage key areas of the event.
