Adult Learn to Sail is now Small Boat Beginner and is open to the whole family.

Learn the basics of sailing...

...an activity you can enjoy for a lifetime. Discover how a sailboat works and how to safely operate it. Then, put your skills into practice at Western Carolina Sailing Club on Lake Hartwell!

Western Carolina Sailing Club offers beginning sailing classes for adults and their families to both members and non-members. Each class includes both classroom sessions and hands-on training on the water. The on-the-water portion is taught in Flying Scots and Lightnings. All classes are conducted at Western Carolina Sailing Club.

The 2025 Spring class will be April 25, 26, and 27 -Information and Registration
The 2025 Fall class will be October 24, 25, and 26 - Registration Coming Soon

Participants must have their own Coast Guard Approved Life Jacket
