Around Andersonville Island Race


                Join us Saturday, June 3 for the Around Andersonville Island Race. 

This year’s race will follow a similar format to previous year’s races, with skippers sailing around Andersonville Island, either single-handed or with crew.  We plan to employ a pursuit start.  There will be prizes in three classes: Dinghies, Keelboats (racing skippers) and Keelboats (non-racing skippers), with a special prize for the first boat to cross the finish line single-handed.


You must complete your registration by checking in at the registration table at 9:30.  

 

The delay-time clock is expected to start at 11:30.

If you are new to this type of racing, familiarizing yourself with the contents of the Sailing Instructions will prove helpful on race day. Come for a great day of racing and join us in the clubhouse after the race for great food, cocktails (BYO), and the presentation of awards.
