2026 Junior Sail Camp will open on Monday, April 13, 2026!
WCSC’s Junior Sail Camp provides instruction to juniors from age 7 through 18 (turning 18 in 2026) during two weekends in June. Instruction ranges from beginner to advanced sailors in age and size appropriate fleets. Junior camp is a great way for youth to learn the lifelong sport of sailing! Please note 7-year-old campers will be a class limited to beginners only.
Camp and Swim Test Dates:
Our 2026 summer camp will be held June 20-21 and 27-28. Prior to camp, a required swim test and orientation will be administered on May 16th and 30th. Students, with parents and/or legal guardian, must attend one of the swim test and orientation sessions, but attending one of these sessions is required.
Registration Dates:
Registration for camp will open on April 13th for member children and grandchildren. Spaces will be limited and priority will be given to the children and grandchildren of members and youth club members. Registration for non-members will open April 20th. Any remaining spaces will be offered to non-member children via a waiting list. Non-club members on the sail camp waitlist will be placed in open sail camp classes beginning April 20th. This allows time for non-club members to plan appropriately. Club members who are interested in sail camp should complete registration and payment before April 20th. After April 20th, club members will be placed on first come first serve basis with non-club members. Registration closes May 1st.
