What is this?
Time to get in your fairshare hours helping with projects around the club. A preliminary list of projects for this coming Work Day Saturday, May 14th, are listed below. An updated list will be sent out later in the week. The workday is from 8AM to noon. Come to the clubhouse for signing in and assignment. Wear/bring appropriate clothing (especially leather gloves) for the tasks to be performed. See you bright and early on Saturday!
May 14th Work Day Tasks
Grounds – Rear Commodore
Under brushing – Our tasks will be to continue cutting 3" dia and smaller undergrowth and limbing up trees. Bring heavy leather gloves. I have some tools available for use, however if you have any pruning tools you can use please bring them. A small chain saw, large loppers, battery powered sawzall with pruning blades, bow saw, tree pruners, bush axes, etc. would be useful. If you have a cordless hedge trimmer, I believe it may be the most effective tool for cutting the briers and honeysuckle vines.
Drag limbs and brush previously cut out of woods to the roadway and put in small piles for chipping at a later date.
Bring and Use weed eaters at various locations around club.
Dig up/remove evergreen shrubs around flagpole.
You can reach me at: sailtanzer@aol.com or 864-420-4782.

Ronnie Ashmore
