WCSC has arranged to host a US Sailing Race Management Seminar scheduled for February 14th at the WCSC clubhouse. As a PRO scheduled to run a race for WCSC this year, it’s a great opportunity to brush your skills by attending the class. This year, our own Hal Smith and Ted McGee from Lake Lanier will be leading the seminar.

Keep in mind that by being a PRO, if you take this class and pass the test you also are eligible for your annual fairshare hours. It’s a great deal for PRO’s, but make sure you keep your status up to date by attending this year’s course.

You will need to register online at the US Sailing Web site. The fee is $30 and includes test materials, the class, donuts/coffee, pizza lunch and a post test beverage. Registration closes on February 10th to ensure the proper materials are available for you at the seminar.

The class will start at 8:30am and will cover all Race Management details needed to run an effective race. Bring your 2013-2016 RRS. In addition, please review the attached pre-test study questions that will give you a great head start on the material.

Register early here, seating is limited for the Seminar.
