What is this?
Our fourth work day of the year will occur Saturday August 16th. This is yet another opportunity to gain "fair share" hours.
Our priorities for this work day are as follows:
1.) Breakwater Repair
Curt Rubinstein will be coordinating the assembly of tire bundles for repair and expansion of the breakwater. This is dirty work. Wear old clothes, shoes and bring gloves.
2.) Club House Front Deck Demo
Provided that we have enough volunteers we will also start on the demo of the front club house deck. This task will require that you bring gloves, items of destruction such as hammers and crow bars ( I will bring the electric and chain saw). Curt has asked I coordinate this task.
Please R.S.V.P. (répondez s'il vous plaît ... so French... :-)) to me by phone text or email so Curt and I can plan.
Thanks in advance for all the help. The involvement of members makes the club possible.
We will gather first thing 8AM at the club house and work until a bit past noon. Be sure to sign in.
Oh, and don't forget the evening of the 16th there will be a cruising raft up which Dennis Baker is coordinating. There is a good chance to see a club flag officer lose his balance and fall in the drink!
