Junior Sail Camp will be held on July 14, 15, 21 & 22 with an ice cream social & awards being held immediately following sail camp on July 22nd. If you have a child registered for sail camp, as a reminder, please make sure to have them at the WCSC Clubhouse by no later than 10:00am each day of camp. Also, please make sure to pick your student(s) up by no later than 3:00pm each day. Per your orientation session, it would be ideal if parents / guardians were at the club by no later than 2:45 - 2:50pm each day so that you can make yourself available to hear what your student(s) accomplished during the day and what will be happening the following day. Also, this will be a great time connect with your student's instructor.
IF YOU HAVE NOT REGISTERED YOUR STUDENT FOR SAIL CAMP ............ Please note that we have a limited number of slots yet available; (approximately 8).
Although we are completed with the registration process, we will be holding a last minute and very short registration process on Saturday the 14th from 8:00am - 9:00am. During this time, the parent or guardian MUST be present to attend a brief orientation session with the student you are registering. The student will also be undergoing a swim test, life jacket check and capsize drill during this time.
If you will be volunteering your time during sail camp, we thank you in advance! This is a large effort that we could not pull off without the volunteer help we receive every year; Thank you! Volunteers, as a reminder, please make sure to fill out your information on the fair share hour sign in sheet that will be located at the "registration desk" area, for each day worked throughout the duration of sail camp. It will be each volunteer's responsibility to fill in the time you started and stopped along with clearly printing the requested information on the form.
